  • Yes. I just did a little basic calculations and these folks will be lucky to bring home 400.00 a week. That pretty much rules out home ownership, children, or saving for retirement.

  • The company I work for is hiring - in India. Anither round of lay-offs here in the US last week. Good full time middle class wage jobs shipped off to Bangalore never to return. Something really, really bad has to happen to that upper 1-2% or the American people are doomed. R

  • This article was about Cuba and it's changing economy, right? Most of the comments seem to be from scared, angry hillbillies and concern Obama. Focus people focus. There are plenty of articles about Obama where you can vent and if you run out of thoughts just flip on Fox and recharge.

  • You might as well. My experience in emergency rooms is hope you have an American nurse if you have an Indian or Pakistani doctor. Bumbling and confused, not mention difficult to understand, has been my experience.

  • Free trade = loss of American jobs. We need to institute a series of targeted tariffs and be quite clear and open about the fact that we intend to win back - with government intervention if necessary - manufacturing jobs (auto parts, appliances, etc.) that were shipped overseas.
